Sony will release a limited edition PlayStation 4 Pro later this month to celebrate the sale of over 500-million systems worldwide.
The console itself is a translucent dark blue and features a copper plate with limited edition serial number on the front.

“As translucent colours are always a fan-favourite, this is a great opportunity to bring this colour to the PlayStation 4 Pro system as a ‘thank you’ to our fans”, said Sony in its official release.
The Limited Edition PS4 Pro also comes with a 2TB hard drive, DualShock 4 wireless controller — in the same dark blue — and a vertical stand.
Only 50 000 units will go on sale around the world beginning on 24 August 2018. Each unit will retail for US$500 (almost R7000).
It’s not yet clear if any units will be shipped to South Africa.
