The first official trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 was release in a surprise reveal at The Game Awards 2018, which took place this week.
The trailer features a backtrack from rapper 21 Savage, a fight sequence between characters Raiden and Scorpion, and ends with the phrase “You’re next”.

Over on Twitter, game creator Ed Boon said that he was “really surprised” that fans didn’t see this one coming.

The game will launch on PC, Xbox One, Play Station 4 and Nintendo Switch on 23 April 2019.
Pre-orders are already avialable, and will give you access to the character Shao Kahn and Mortal Kombat 11’s beta.
