Fitbit South Africa on Thursday announced pricing for its four new wearables heading to the country in 2019: the Versa Lite, Inspire, Inspire HR, and the Ace 2.
Versa Lite
The Versa Lite is “an everyday smartwatch with most of the core fitness and smart features Versa is known for” including heart-rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and an SpO2 sensor.

The watch also gains notifications from your phone, and Fitbit claims a battery life of “4+” days.
It’ll be priced at R2999 and available from April 2019.
Inspire and Inspire HR
We wrote about these two devices in February when they launched as Fitbit Health Solutions exclusives. Now, it seems that anyone will be able to purchase the bands.
Unlike the Versa, these take the shape of the company’s Charge bands.
The Inspire HR features heart-rate monitoring, the Inspire doesn’t. This does make the latter R700 more expensive at R1999. Both will be available from “winter”.
Ace 2
The company’s fitness tracker for kids gets an update and now comes with a “swimproof design”.
It’ll be available from “winter” for R1299.
