OnePlus’s devices have long been regarded as one of the best value for money prospects in the smartphone roster. But they’ve never really been quirky.
That is, until now.

According to a render or two published by smartphone leaker OnLeaks (via Pricebaba), the upcoming OnePlus 7 will be a notable departure from the company’s previous device.
The phone features pretty slim bezels, a Sony Xperia 1-like triple rear camera setup arranged vertically in the spine of the phone, and perhaps its defining feature, a pop-up camera up top.
Only the selfie camera’s seemingly housed in this popup. There’s nothing behind it or alongside the snapper, and it’s slighly off centre too, which may just annoy the perfectionists.
Still, other things you’ll notice is the lack of a headphone jack (again), and a single speaker at the bottom of the phone.
There’s no word on specs. No word on release dates or suggested launch dates. But considering the OnePlus 6 debuted in May last year, we expect the 7 could be out sooner rather than later.
