According to a report by MySmartPrice (quoting Sumahoinfo), Sony is preparing a new entrant into the industry’s upper mid-range tier.
Dubbed the Sony Xperia 4, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, pack a 5.7 inch 2520×1080 screen, and feature an aspect ratio of 21:9.

The latter has become something of a design trait for new Sony smartphones.
Other quoted specs include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There seemingly won’t be a headphone jack either — unlike the Xperia 10 range — but will have a 2800mAh battery.
While it’s likely that Sony will be looking to fill the naming gap between its flagship Xperia 1 and mid-range Xperia 10, the Japanese firm hasn’t confirmed these reports.
