“For a family looking to step-up from smartphone photography or upgrade from their existing camera, the EOS 250D is a fun and easy to use DSLR, packed with the latest technology,” Canon said in a press release.
The 24.1MP camera includes an optical viewfinder, movable touchscreen as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
It also features Dual Pixel CMOS AF and Canon’s latest DIGIC 8 processor, along with 4K video recording capabilities.
As the EOS 250D is marketed towards beginners, the interchangeable lens camera also sports a guided user interface for easy learning.
The device will be available in South Africa this May, but there’s currently no pricing information at present.
