Niantic first announced the game earlier this year, after teasing fans for several months. A beta version of the Pokemon Go-like game was then launched in Australia and New Zealand.
“We’ve been receiving some amazing feedback and deeply appreciate all of your help,” the company said in an update.
The game’s story involves a “Calamity” that magical people from all over the world must help resolve.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite will be available for download on iOS and Android.
Though the launch is worldwide, the game will be available in the UK and the US before it rolls out to other countries.
