HMD Global’s Nokia 4.2 is now available in South Africa.
The mid-range device is one of four budget devices which debuted at MWC 2019 in February. Its imminent launch in South Africa was also confirmed after HMD Global released a list of Android Enterprise programme devices available in South Africa.

The phone itself features a 5.7 inch display with 1520×720 pixels, a Snapdragon 439 chipset, and 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. It seems that the 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage version will not be offered in SA.
Interally, the phone will sport a 3000mAh battery, and will feature a 13MP and 2MP dual rear camera, and an 8MP selfie camera mounted in a waterdrop notch.
The Nokia 4.2 will also run on Android 9 Pie.
The phone will cost R2999 in South Africa, or R199/24 months on contract from 12 June.
