Sony on Wednesday revealed two additions to the company’s Alpha mirrorless camera range, the Sony a6600 and a6100.
“These new models bring many of Sony’s most advanced imaging technologies into compact, lightweight APS-C bodies,” the company said in a press release.

Both devices feature 24.2MP Exmo CMOS sensors and BIONZ X image processors, along with “lightning-fast” 0.02-second autofocus and Real-time Tracking.
Though the a6600 and a6100 also feature Real-time Eye AF, the former camera boasts the ability to record video with the feature as well.
“Additionally, both cameras can shoot high-quality 4K video, and include a microphone jack and flip screen that allows for easy framing and shooting of vlog-style content,” Sony explained.
Both the Sony a6600 and a6100 will go on sale in North America this November with a body-only price tag of $1400 and $750 respectively.
Sony, which previously launched the a6400 camera in January, also revealed two new E-mount lenses in the form of a standard-zoom APS-C E 16-55mm F2.8 and a super-telephoto APS-C E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS.
The former lens will go on sale in October for $1400, while the latter will launch in November for $1000.
