Fujifilm on Thursday announced the upcoming launch of its new X-A7 mirrorless digital camera, which will go on sale this October with the company’s XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens.
As with almost all cameras in 2019, the X-A7 is “compact” and “lightweight”, coming in at just 320g excluding the lens.

The 24.2MP camera features 4K video recording as well as both face and eye autofocus. The device also boasts a 3.5-inch LCD flip-out screen.
“The newly developed 24.2MP imaging sensor features 8.5 times more phase-detection pixels across its surface than the previously available sensor,” Fujifilm said in a press release.
The X-A7 also includes a more intuitive touchscreen, customisable menu, and features high ISO settings for low-light photography.
“The X-A7 is the ideal camera for content creators of all skill levels and disciplines,” Fujifilm noted.
The camera comes in silver, dark silver, mint green and camel colour variants.
The X-A7 will go on sale in South Africa on 24 October 2019, and will cost R12 000.
