Though Canon’s IVY REC clippable camera was first revealed via the crowdfunding site Indiegogo back in July, the company on Thursday officially revealed the camera.
Described as “a fun and easy to use activity camera”, the IVY REC weighs only 90g and features a 13MP sensor.

Beyond this, the tiny clip-on device also boasts a Full HD video recording and wireless connectivity.
“Waterproof to a depth of 2 metres for 30 minutes and designed to withstand an impact from up to two metres, this lightweight and portable camera is equipped to survive the elements and challenging environments,” Canon also noted in a press release.
Though the company has not specified the IVY REC’s price or release date, it did note that customers can register for an “exclusive introductory offer” later this year.
In July, however, Indiegogo listed the prototype IVY REC for R1672.
