Bullitt Group’s CAT Phones division has added another member to its budget rugged smartphone offering in the form of the CAT S32.
The phone looks much the same as the S31 complete with meaty bezels and textured design, but it ditches the physical navigation buttons.

Navigation will now resemble more traditional touchscreen smartphones, with Android gestures on the 5.5-inch display. The phone sports IP68 water and dust resistance too.
Internally, 3GB of RAM now joins 32GB of internal storage and a Mediatek Helio A20 chipset. This is a notable upgrade from the 2GB/16GB/Snapdragon 210 combo seen on the S31.
A 4200mAh battery is also an improvement, while Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a headphone jack joins a 13MP rear camera and 5MP snapper up front.
The CAT S32 will also support LTE networks, too.
As for the price, you’ll be looking at around €299 in the EU. The phone will likely arrive in South Africa, but a local date and price has yet to be determined.
