Huawei has announced that its Y6p smartphone — the latest addition to its Y series — will be launching soon in South Africa.
The device is aimed at users looking for an affordable smartphone with good hardware. The Huawei Y6p features a 5000mAh battery, a triple-lens main camera, and 3GB of RAM.

Meanwhile, the main camera setup has a 13MP main lens, a 5MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth lens. The phone’s selfie camera features an 8MP lens.

Huawei Y6p price and launch date in South Africa
Pre-orders for the Y6p open from 25 June until 30 June. The product will be available in stores from 1 July.
The smartphone’s starting price is R3299. According to Huawei, pre-orders will come with a premium gift option valued at R1499.
