But how does the device stack up to the competition?

Here’s a look at how the HUAWEI Band 6 compares to other smart bands on the market such as the Fitbit Inspire 2, the Fitbit Charge 4, and the Galaxy Fit 2.

Fitbit Inspire 2

The Fitbit Inspire 2 is best-suited for people who want a minimalistic design for a smart band that doesn’t draw too much attention to itself. In fact, buyers can even opt to remove the tracker from the wrist strap and place it in a clip-on accessory if they really want to make it discreet.

However, in its smart band configuration, it is able to track your activity, your heart rate, and SpO2 levels. With a new firmware update, it is also able to track stress.

While the Fitbit app is free, certain more in-depth insights and analysis requires a Fitbit Premium subscription. If you’re a first-time user, you will get a free one-year subscription included with your purchase.

Fitbit Charge 4

If you don’t necessarily want a discrete device and want a bit more functionality, the Fitbit Charge 4 is both larger and has a few more features than the Inspire 2.

It also features a greyscale touchscreen, albeit with larger dimensions.

The Charge 4 stands apart from many other smart bands due to its built-in GPS — meaning that it can track your position even when you don’t have your smartphone nearby.

It also includes heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, SpO2 monitoring, Spotify control, and support for Fitbit Pay.

However, it’s battery life is a bit on the low side for a smart band, with up to seven days of battery with typical use.

Samsung Galaxy Fit 2

Like the HUAWEI Band 6, the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 features an AMOLED colour display, but with a smaller size of 1.1 inches.

It features heart rate, sleep, and stress tracking. You can also monitor notifications on the display and control music on your phone.

Similar to the Band 6, you can also customize your watch face — however it does have a much slimmer display with limited viewing space.

It’s inexpensive and lightweight, with a long battery life, but has a fairly limited number of workout modes.

HUAWEI Band 6

The HUAWEI Band 6 manages to balance features and affordability, comparing favourably to its competitors.

It has a bold bright display that offers the convenience of a smartwatch, along with the useful and convenient functionality of a larger viewing area, while still maintaining a relatively sleek profile.

Thanks to the HUAWEI app and the band’s hardware, the Band 6 offers you a variety of customizable watch faces to suit your style, all-day SpO2 and heart rate monitoring, as well as sleep and stress monitoring.

It can also track 96 workout modes and allow you to control your phone’s music, see notifications, act as a phone camera shutter, and view incoming calls.

And with all this functionality, the band still offers up to 14 days of battery life with typical use.
