HMD Global has announced the price and launch window for its Nokia G20 smartphone in South Africa, the second addition to its G series lineup.
The phone, which boasts a three-day battery life, was announced earlier this year during an event where the company announced its 2021 Nokia C, G, and X series smartphones.

The G series forms the mid-range lineup for Nokia’s 2021 devices. Last month, the company launched the Nokia G10 as well as the entry-level Nokia C10 and C20 locally.
The G20 focuses on providing a similar experience to the G10 in terms of battery life and durability. However, it also comes with improved hardware when it comes to its camera setup.
The phone, available in its Blue and Glacier colour versions, features a 6.5-inch HD+ display.
It also has a 48MP quad-camera setup, featuring a 48MP main lens, 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it sports an 8MP selfie camera.
In terms of memory and storage, it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Like other Nokia phones, it runs stock Android. The G20 comes with Android 11.
The three-day battery life is thanks to its 5 050mAh battery. The phone also includes a fingerprint sensor on the side and supports dual SIMs.

- Processor: Mediatek G35 8x A53 2.3GHz
