“Somewhat of a ‘flagship’ in our C-series, the Nokia C30 is a shining example of what this range stands for – bringing the best possible quality to an introductory price point,” CEO of HMD Global, Florian Seiche, said in a statement.
“It’s the ultimate device for people who are ready to transition into the world of smart technology – from a brand you know and trust.”
Smartphone features
The C30 sports a 6.82-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 resolution. It is the largest display ever fitted to a Nokia smartphone.
Inside, the phone uses an octa-core 1.6GHz processor with Android 11 (Go Edition). It comes equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage.
It also features a 6 000mAh battery, the largest also ever fitted to a Nokia phone. HMD Global claims the battery can last up to three days on a single charge.
On the back, the phone has a dual camera system comprising a 13MP wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
There is also a 5MP selfie camera located at the top of the display.
Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and regular security updates for at least two years.
