The iStore has announced the price for the new Apple iPhone 13 smartphones in South Africa, as well as contract options for the range.
The smartphones were unveiled by Apple in an event on 14 September, with the range consisting of four devices: the iPhone 13 mini, the standard iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The iStore announced that pre-orders have opened online in South Africa for the devices from 1 October. They are set to launch locally on 8 October.
iPhone 13 prices in South Africa
Prices for the iPhone 13 range start at R14 999 for the iPhone 13 mini.
The iPhone 13 starts at R17 299.
For the iPhone 13 Pro, prices start at R21 499, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at R23 699.

iPhone 13 contracts from Vodacom, MTN, and Telkom

So how much will contracts for the smartphone range cost?
The iStore has noted that customers will still be able to pre-order their device on Vodacom, MTN, and Telkom contracts — submitting their paperwork online.
On Vodacom, contracts start at R549 per month for 36-month contracts and R749 per month for 24-month contracts.

In a press release, Telkom stated that the iPhone 13 would be available on its FreeMe 1.5GB contract starting from R699.
