The iStore has announced pre-orders for the new MacBook Pro are now open, along with the price for both 14-inch and 16-inch models in South Africa.
Orders for the new laptop will ship on 5 November.

Apple originally unveiled the new MacBook Pro at its Unleashed event on 18 October.
The devices feature the company’s all-new M1 Pro and M1 Max chips that promise improved performance.
They also feature a Liquid Retina XDR display, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, three Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a six-speaker sound system.
The laptops come with macOS Monterey, Apple’s new desktop operating system.
New MacBook Pro price in South Africa
Prices for the laptop start at R36 299 for the 14-inch MacBook Pro with an 8-Core CPU, 14-Core GPU, and 512GB internal storage.
Two 14-inch variants are available to purchase. Both feature Apple’s M1 Pro chip and 16GB memory.
Meanwhile, three variants of the 16-inch MacBook Pro are available, with prices starting at R45 399.
Prices for the 16-inch laptop extend up to R63 499, with the flagship variant featuring an M1 Max Chip, 32-Core GPU, 32GB memory, and 1TB internal storage.
Both the 14-inch and 16-inch laptops are available in Silver and Space Grey.
