Xiaomi has announced the launch of its Xiaomi 11T Pro in South Africa, bringing premium specifications for a price tag under R14 000.
The smartphone company announced the details around the local launch of the device at a virtual event on 24 October.

Xiaomi 11T Pro features and specs
The 11T Pro is one of Xiaomi’s newest flagship devices, first announced globally in September.
Some of its highlights include the 108MP triple camera setup, its 120Hz display, a 5000mAh battery with 120W charging support, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
The smartphone also sports 5G and dual-SIM support.
The 120W fast charging, with Xiaomi dubs its HyperCharge technology, can charge a phone to 100% in only 17 minutes according to the company.
Meanwhile, the phone’s includes support for both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. In addition, it includes dual speakers with sound by Harman Kardan and hi-res audio certification.

Xiaomi is aiming the smartphone at creators with its variety of video recording and photography features. This includes AI Cinema modes, 8K recording, and the ability to play back HDR10+ content.
Price and availability in South Africa
The Xiaomi 11T Pro has a recommended price of R13 999 in South Africa.
It went on sale from 25 October, with the 8GB+25GB available for local consumers.
You can choose between the Meterorite Gray and Celestial Blue Colour options.
