BMW recently announced the launch of its new M3 Sedan and M4 coupe. So what should we make of the latest offerings in BMW’s high performance range? Well they’re not bad lookers and the M3 Sedan looks like it straddles the line between being a functional sedan, fit for the daily commute, and a high performance speed machine pretty well.
When it comes the guts of this beast, Motorburn contributor Matt Black has all the details, but we can tell you that the new M3 comes with 4.0l V8 to a 3.0l straight-six with the M TwinPower Turbo layout. Despite the engine being lighter, with cleaner emissions, BMW ///M engineers have increased the power from 309kW to 321kW and torque has been increased from 400Nm to a 550Nm.
