Who ever said electric bikes were boring? Unveiled at the Paris Motorbike Show, the Voxan Wattman is a 200bhp work of art that looks like it would put a smile on the face on all but the most cynical of two-wheeled thrill seekers.
Offering an instantaneous torque of 200Nm up to 10 500 rpm, the Wattman seems fairly justified in calling itself the world’s most powerful electric motorcycle. All that power means it can accelerate from 0-160km/h in 5.9 seconds.

Unlike electric cars meanwhile, you won’t have to rely on long charges or a supercharger network to fill the Wattman up with juice. Using a “COMBO II” socket, the European quick charge standard the Wattman’s manufacturer says you’ll be able to get to 80% charge in under 30 minutes Voxan also claims that its 12.8kWh battery should give you a range of around 180km.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to walk into a dealer and pick up one of these bad boys. The Wattman is intended for top-end clients and will be produced unit-by-unit, upon order, and hand-assembled in France.
