Bentley has just released images of its new Continental GT3R, ahead of its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and it’s probably the best looking Bentley we’ve seen for a very long time.
It’s not slow either. According to the British luxury automaker, the new car comes with a 572 bhp (426 kW) engine and 700 Nm of torque. That power means it’s supposedly capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds, making it the fastest Bentley ever.

The powertrain enabling that performance is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, which has been coupled with a 100 kg weight reduction and shorter gearing.
The soundtrack meanwhile is provided by a a titanium exhaust that is also 7kgs lighter than any other exhausts in the company’s repertoire.
Of course, it’d be a bit daft if Bentley produced a pure performance car. That’s why the two-seater has an interior hand-crafted from carbon fibre, a material called Alcantara and leather.
Even if you’re wealthy enough to afford the GT3R, you’ll probably battle to get your hands on one, given that Bentley’s only going to build 300 of the things.
