Check out the ruggedly cute Adam Rocks S

A little more than a year ago, Opel debuted the Adam Rocks at the Geneva Motor Show. It was a pretty cool take on the model but, if anything, the S variant is even cooler.

Set to debut at the Amsterdam Motor Show, the Rocks S comes with chunky tyres, a 1.4-liter turbo, a swing top canvas roof, and enough cool to get a table at that coffee shop everyone’s been talking about without having to call ahead first.

The engine is capable of pushing out 110 kW/150 hp and can apparently get you from 0 to 100km/h in 8.5 seconds. Eighty to 120 km/h in fifth gear is meanwhile dispatched with in 7.9 seconds.

If you live somewhere where such things are legal, or have access to a private runway then you’ll be able to take the Adam Rocks S to its 210 km/h top speed.

Following the example of the base model Adam, the Adam Rocks also has plenty of tech as standard.

Perhaps the most interesting though is the optional Advanced Park Assist. At speeds below 30 km/h, the system identifies suitable parking spaces and automatically parks the car. Advanced Park Assist always comes with Side Blind Spot Alert. It uses the ultrasonic sensors to warn the driver of an imminent collision when changing lanes. Side Blind Spot Alert works in speeds ranging from 11 km/h to 140 km/h.
