You know how you get some concept cars which are just thinly veiled versions of soon-to-be-unveiled production cars? Well the only way that might be true of the Chevrolet FNR is if the universe you happen to inhabit was created in the fevered imaginings of particularly creative sci-fi futurist.
I mean look at it.

Somewhere between machine and flying insect, the autonomous concept was unveiled at the Shanhai International Auto Show and was developed by GMâ€
Among the many futuristic features on the FNR are crystal laser headlights and taillights, dragonfly dual swing doors, magnetic hubless wheel electric motors and a wireless auto-charge system.
There are also sensors and roof-mounted radar which are designed to help map out the environment and enable driverless operation, Chevy Intelligent Assistant and iris recognition start. The Chevrolet-FNR can also serve as a “personal assistant†to map out the best route to the driverâ€
In a move that’s becoming fairly typical of such autonomous concepts, the front seats can swivel 180-degrees in self-driving mode, to enable conversation (as long as you’re not prone to motion-sickness).
