It’s a little surprising that a country as staid as Sweden has produced an automotive brand as insane as Koenisegg, but we should be eternally grateful that it did.
The supercar maker recently provided fresh proof of that by taking the Koenegsigg One:1 from zero to 300km/h and back to zero again in record time.

Okay, it wasn’t official, like when its Agera R set is own 21.19 seconds record 2011.
Still, watching the One:1 make the run in just 17.95 seconds is pretty impressive.
You can only wonder at the forces that must have been acting on test driver Robert Serwanski’s body during those few seconds. Then again, he seems pretty calm about the whole thing,
It’s also worth remembering that this was just a practice run as Koenegsigg looks to officially break the record.
