The Subaru Impreza Sedan concept looks good, probably won’t set hearts on fire

Subaru on Wednesday unveiled its Impreza Sedan concept and, apart from the fact that it has a few new design elements, there’s really not much else to say.

According to Subaru, the new Impreza will be the first example of the car maker’s next-generation vehicles using a new modular platform.

That means that some of the design elements seen on the concept will likely make their way onto future Subarus. That said, there’s plenty on this car that’ll be familiar to Subaru aficionados, including the grille and “hawkeye headlights”.

At this stage, it’s worth noting that this isn’t really the most “out there” concept to ever roll off a design floor. On the one hand that means it’s not exactly likely to set petrolhead hearts racing. On the other, it means that when the next Impreza actually rolls off the factory floor, the chances of it actually looking like the concept are a lot stronger.

And in this case that’s not a bad thing at all.
