The Nissan GTR has always personified geeky, tech-fueled motoring and now it looks as if the Japanese motoring giant is set to launch a new version at the New York International Auto Show, which will commence on 23 March.
Evidence of the launch comes in the shape of a GIF showing off taillights and the silhouette of something that looks very much like the current generation GTR.

According to Jalopnik, this is likely to be the GTR’s final hurrah before it gets replaced with a hybrid version.
The car blog suggests that the new GTR will get Nissan’s “V-motion” grille, new wheels, revised side skirts, new rear diffuser and revised rear lights.
The new GTR is likely to add a few more tricks to the car’s giant-slaying bag, but the really important stuff is only likely to come when the new generation GTR is unveiled sometime around 2018.
