Charlie Sheen tweets his number to 5-million+ followers

Hollywood bad boy, Charlie Sheen, has joined the league of celebrities who commit Twitter faux pas. Sheen accidentally tweeted his mobile phone number to his more than 5-million followers.

Sheen who was in the eye of a controversial storm with his network due to outburst that resulted in his axing from popular television show Two and half men was attempting to DM Justin Bieber.

The actor was apparently dinning at Guy Savoy in Las Vegas when he sent a message he hoped was for Bieber’s eyes only.

“310-954-7277 Call me bro. C,” the message read.

The message was immediately retweeted by millions of Sheen’s followers as you can imagine.

According to a report by the Daily Telegraph, Sheen’s phone received a flurry of calls following the tweet. “Charlie saw the funny side and answered the phone a few times, saying things like ‘Ray’s Pizza’ and ‘Winning.’ But his phone just continued ringing and buzzing and eventually just completely melted down,” quoting a source at the restaurant.

Though eventually the actor relented saying, “Charlie was, like, ‘I guess I need a new phone’.”

The number has since been disconnected understandably and Sheen has deleted the tweet.

The former Two and Half men actor, has been stirring up controversy on Twitter since he joined earlier this year. He broke the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest person to gain one million followers on Twitter. His Tiger Blood and #winning comments kept followers entertained for weeks.

Earlier this year another Hollywood “Twilebrity” Ashton Kutcher had to quit Twitter after he defended child abuse by tweeting: “How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste.” Joe Paterno, the coach in question, was in the middle of a sex scandal at the time.

Also American congressman Anthony Weiner accidentally tweeted a lewd photo he thought was a DM to a college student, which led to his resignation.

The Office star, Rainn Wilson also intended to send a DM to his assistant expressing his dislike for a product he was about to endorse. The tweet resulted in him losing the US$12 000 endorsement deal, I suppose that’s not that much in Hollywoodland.
