Drones light up London sky with Star Trek logo

Holy heck this is geek-tastically awesome. While everyone was gearing up for Earth Hour over this past weekend, the studio behind Star Trek Into Darkness was commissioning the flying of a giant, glowing Star Fleet insignia in the London night sky.
The insignia, made up of 30 LED-illuminated quadrocoptors, was 308 feet high and hovered 118 feet above the ground before dimming its lights along with a number of London’s most prominent landmarks, recognizing WWF’s Earth Hour efforts.
The show was apparently created by Ars Electronica Futurelab which, according to The Verge, put on a similar display Linz, Austria last year.
There’s a way to go yet before the film actually premieres, but when you find yourself looking for a fix, you can always re-watch that light show and get a few tingles.
