Yahoo! set to unveil new logo after ’30 days of change’
Yahoo! is finally ready to follow the path tread by the likes of Microsoft and eBay by giving its logo a makeover.
Except it’s not going to happen right away. The veteran Silicon Valley company will only unveil its new logo next month. In the interim though, it’ll be displaying a variation on the logo every day for the next 30 days on its homepage and throughout its US network. Yahoo! will also post each day’s new logo on Tumblr, @Yahoo (#dailylogo) and on its Facebook page.
“The new logo will be a modern redesign that’s more reflective of our reimagined design and new experiences,” says Yahoo! chief marketing officer Kathy Savitt.
While we can’t be certain what the new logo will look like, we do know that it’ll still be purple and that it’ll retain that love-it-or-hate-it exclamation mark.
