The best part of the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas last week had nothing to do with any of the wearables, car tech or curved screens on display. No it was Michael Bay’s meltdown during a Samsung presentation that really stole the show.

In fact, the incident caught so much mainstream attention that Golden Globe host Tina Fey managed to slip in a reference to it during the awards ceremony. While Fey didn’t storm off stage in the same way Bay did, the reference was obvious enough for the audience to get it.
As TechCrunch points out, the attention given to Bay’s meltdown probably far exceeded that which Samsung would’ve got if the event had gone smoothly. So, can we expect to see a lot more flickering teleprompters at CES 2015?
