With today’s discerning consumer demanding that their wearable tech be as functional as it is fashionable, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series steps boldly…
Turn your tweet into a love song with #SavannaSerenades
Okay okay, so you’re probably sick of all the chocolates, cutesy cards and declarations of love already — but this social media campaign may save Valentine’s Day.
Savanna Cider has gone with a big romantic gesture for the special day, by hauling the Gerrie Lovell love band (‘Gerrie’ in this case being radio DJ Jon Savage) into studio and getting them to turn tweets into songs in near real time.
The alcohol brand has set up a dedicated site which has a live stream of the artists alongside a feed of all the #SavannaSerenades tweets, so you can watch as the band picks out your message from the bunch and turns it into a customised musical tribute for your loved one. In case you missed the band translating your tweet into song, the Savanna account will tweet you a link to the YouTube clip, so you can watch it all over and over again.
Twitter users have been sending in some pretty entertaining requests, varying from deviations on ‘roses are red, violets are blue’ to quirky declarations to their best friends. Basically, something like this:
Hey Andy, you're so dandy! Dandy Andy dandy Andy. Cheese sandwich. #savannaserenades

Has been transformed into this:
With more than 40 serenades so far and a trending hashtag, the band has been busy. Of course, it probably helped that they started off with customised songs for some influential Twitter users as the campaign kicked off. Nice one, Savanna.
