Weird Al’s ‘Happy’ parody is fueled by celeb cameos, tacky awesomeness

Unless you’ve been hiding in a sealed underground bunker, Pharrell Williams’ ridiculously catchy song “Happy” has probably wormed its way into your brain at some point over the past few months. Once it does so however, there are only two real courses of action you can take: accept it and walk around grinning until you drop dead from sheer exhaustion or listen to the hours of Swedish Black Metal it takes to dislodge it.

Fortunately there is now a third option: replace all the lyrics with those of Weird Al Yankovic’s parody, titled “Tacky”. The video for the song, which is a pretty solid return to form for the renowned parody singer, also packs some pretty big star power.

Among the celebrities who make cameos are Jack Black, Margaret Cho, Kristen Schaal, Eric Stonestreet and Aisha Tyler all make appearances wearing the tackiest ensembles known to man. Watch it and improve your day immediately.
