Instagram would look astonishing with Google’s Material design
Material Design was probably the headline feature to come out of Google’s I/O developers conference in June. And despite the fact that it won’t be released until later this year, people are getting seriously excited about the way it could make apps look.
Take Instagram for instance. Designer Emmanuel Pacamalan has released a concept video showing how the photo-editing and sharing service would look with Material Design. The results are, well, astonishing.
It’s unclear exactly what Instagram’s plans are when it comes to Material Design, but given that it undertook a massive redesign for iOS 7, it would only make sense that it be on the bleeding edge when it comes to Android too.
