Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell’s awkward holiday video features Toto, is better than your’s
So you’re one of comedy’s power couples. How do you make sure you’ll never forget your final vacation before having kids?
Well, if you’re Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell, the answer involves turning the whole thing into a musical tribute to Toto’s ‘Africa’.
Filmed on a trip they took to the Serengeti a couple of years ago (their first child was born in 2013), the video was released earlier this week and already has more than a million views.

“This was our last trip before having kids. Our sole objective was to rage hard and honor Toto properly. Hope you enjoy :),” Shepard wrote in the video’s description.
While the video is cute as all heck, it did land the pair in a bit of trouble.
“We wanted to see the wildebeest migrate so we had driven five hours in the car, we finally got to them on the Serengeti, we got out of the car (and) we started doing a dance for this music video,” Shepard explains. “We weren’t paying attention and then the Serengeti police showed up and they fined us US$50 for dancing at the Serengeti.”
