Dead Men Tell No Tales gets Jack Sparrow-less teaser trailer
It’s been five years since the release of the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie. The latest instalment, Dead Men Tell No Tales, was a fleeting rumour with very little being reported on it, until now.
We finally get our first look at what to expect from the film franchise in early 2017 thanks to its latest teaser trailer.
The new movie directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg will see Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) searching for the trident of Poseidon, undoubtedly to rise in rank from Captain to God.
Dead Men Tell No Tales will debut in 2017, and will be the fifth movie in the Pirates franchise
No Country for Old Men‘s Javier Bardem also plays Captain Salazar, an old nemesis of Sparrow with a hateful grudge toward all pirates.
The trailer features a young British soldier, Henry (Brenton Thwaites) in a twist, being held by fish-like men of the Flying Dutchmen crew, under the command of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom). The snippet is dark, dank and continues with the series’ slow progression into the 16-age ratings.
If you’re an avid fan of Pirates’ mesmeric cinematography and big budget sets, have a look at what you can expect from the 2017 flick below.
