It seems that the wizarding community can’t get enough of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
Warner Bros. has announced that the whimsical addition to the Potterverse has grossed over US$500-million globally since its late November debut.

“We are thrilled by the success of this new adventure, which is also the start of an exciting new franchise for the studio,” explains Warner Bros’ Sue Kroll.

The flick follows Newt Scamander’s (played by Eddie Redmayne) journey as a magizoologist though the magical rewarding world prior to Harry Potter’s birth. Directed by David Yates, also features a star-studded lineup of famous actors, which I’ll leave as a pleasant surprise for you.

“Anticipation grew exponentially in the weeks leading up to the release of Fantastic Beasts, and now with the film in theaters we are seeing strong word of mouth and repeat attendance, which should carry the film through the holiday season and beyond,” said Jeff Goldstein, Warner Bros’ domestic distribution president.
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is just one of the five planned additions to the Potter cinematic universe.
