This week’s episode of Game of Thrones was much like the first; somewhat slow, forcibly funny and heavy with call backs to the show’s beginnings.
Though we were all waiting impatiently for the action to begin, there were some instances in episode two of this final season that warranted strong reactions.
No ad to show here.
Take the opening scene for example, which was tense yet touching.
The hilarity of some moments were slightly ridiculous (in the best way, of course)
Yet, the constant mention of death kept me on edge.
Other, warm and fuzzy moments left me feeling uneasy.
One “encounter” certainly made the fandom collectively uncomfortable.
While yet another highly anticipated exchange left us all a bit anxious.
In the end, it was very clear that this episode was trying its hardest to make us all feel good, just so we could forget about what’s bound to happen next week.
After all, with episode three comes the first of two major battles in this Game of Thrones finale.
