The final episode of Game of Thrones is now HBO’s most watched episode of all time, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.
The sixth and last ever episode of the hit HBO series was viewed 13.6-million times on the streaming service, the publication said on Monday.

This, coupled with streaming from additional HBO platforms brought the total number of views up to 19.3-million overall after the initial airing on Monday morning.
According to the report, this makes “The Iron Throne” the most watched episode of Game of Thrones throughout its eight-season reign, and the most watched episode of any show on HBO.
The report also noted that season eight was the most watched Game of Thrones season as well, with 44.2-million views thus far.
This doesn’t take into account the number of times the final episode, season or entire series was pirated or watched outside of HBO’s services over the years.
When season eight premiered last month, reports revealed that it was pirated over 54-million times within a day.
All these numbers, official and unofficial, suggest that Game of Thrones really was one of the biggest shows of all time.
