Looks like the shunning of Huawei by the US is finally impacting US companies in China.
According to a report by the South China Morning Post, users of iPhones in China are now ditching their devices and grabbing Huaweis in support of the latter.

Even “diehard” Apple fans are making the switch, this after the US placed Huawei on a trade ban list, forbidding the company from buying US products. This means Google can’t support it with Android, Qualcomm and Intel can’t sell it chips, and even UK-based ARM, the supplier of processor cores and instruction sets, has shunned the firm.
The public image of Apple in China is also suffering at the hands of Trump’s ban.
“It’s kind of embarrassing to pull an iPhone out of your pocket nowadays when all the company executives use Huawei,” one former iPhone user told the publication.
Apple’s grip on China has been slowly slipping in recent years, and considering that Huawei already sells more than 100-million phones in China each year, its likely that number will continue to grow in light of the trade ban.
