Well, now that Huawei’s future looks like a Google-less one, the company’s now asking developers to publish apps to its own app store.
Dubbed AppGallery, the store already comes bundled on Huawei devices alongside the Play Store.

However, thanks to the Trump administration’s trade ban against the Chinese firm, it’s likely that the latter will no longer feature on future devices.
That said, AppGallery does already have a fair few apps listed on it, but not nearly enough to make it a comfortable and complete alternative.
That said, XDA Developers on Monday reported that developers are now receiving direct emails from Huawei asking them to published their apps on the AppGallery.
The company claims “full support” will be provided to developers, as well as a platform that has more than 270-million users.
Notably, Huawei has been stepping up its AppGallery marketing efforts in recent weeks. Last week, the firm announced that the AppGallery will feature more apps from South African developers in future.
And now, it seems that if you’re wanting your app on a Huawei device in future, publishing to the AppGallery may be one of the few options available.
