“This cross-promotion gives riders who are new to Eats a seamless way to order a meal via a webview instead of opening up the App Store for download,” Uber confirmed to TechCrunch.
The feature has been available to iOS users in some American cities since April 2019.
According the the report, about 17% of Android users also have access to the feature.
The Uber Eats app will remain functional when this new option rolls out.
