Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter, has once again had his account hacked, his company confirmed on Friday.

The account simply known as @jack, was compromised around Friday at 10pm SAST.

Twitter is currently “investigating what happened”.

Currently, only the pinned tweet of Dorsey’s more than 26 000 tweets load, presumably the company has temporarily suspended access to his account. [Update: his page now loads.] That said, it’s probably a good thing it did.

Those that gained access to the account tweeted that there’s a “bomb at Twitter HQ” and a number of racist remarks.

One tweet also urged people to get #ChucklingGang trending, possibly hinting at the name of the hacking group behind the cyber attack.

It’s not clear how Dorsey’s account has been compromised this time, but it’s definitely not the first.

In July 2016, Dorsey and a number of other high-profile tech leaders had a bevy of social accounts hacked by collective OurMine.

Twitter also erroneously took down Dorsey’s account later that year.
