Nike has launched a clothing subscription service for growing children. In an announcement on Monday, the sportswear company revealed Nike Adventure Club, which “lets kids regularly select Nike and Converse shoes for the right-fitting shoe as their feet — and tastes– evolve”.

The service “roughly” caters to children between the ages of two and ten, offering them over 100 styles of shoe to choose from.

“If you like the shoe, you can keep the pair. If you’re ready to replace it, send it back and Nike Adventure Club will either donate or recycle the returned sneaker,” Nike explained on its website.

With three tier options, parents can choose from $20 per month for four pairs a year, $30 for six or $50 for 12.

That means parents can expect to pay $240 to $600 dollars a year for the service.

“In addition to shoes, the subscription service comes with exclusive adventure guides, filled with outdoor games and activities that parents can do with their kids,” Nike further noted.

While the Nike Adventure Club is already up and running in the States, there is currently a waiting list to join.
