Uber partners with Eat Out for on-demand gourmet burgers
The latest promo from Uber looks set to be especially popular among foodies. The on-demand private ride service on Tuesday announced that it’s teamed up with takeout delivery company Eatout to deliver gourmet burgers to customers in three of South Africa’s major cities.
The promotion, which comes into play on Friday, means that Uber riders in Cape Town, Joburg and Durban can request two gourmet burgers from top restaurants The Hoghouse Brewing Company, DW Eleven-13 and The Grazing Room and 9th Avenue Bistro.
According to Uber, this is the first time any of these restaurants will be making burgers. You will, of course, have to pay for the burgers, with prices set at R120 per burger pair.
