We take a quick look at Instagram Stories (video)
It is no secret that Instagram Stories looks a lot like Snapchat’s Stories but what could the new feature do for Instagram? Having reached the 500-million user mark, with 300-million people using the platform daily in June, Instagram already has a user base that can make Instagram Stories a success.
“With Instagram Stories, you don’t have to worry about overposting. Instead, you can share as much as you want throughout the day — with as much creativity as you want. You can bring your story to life in new ways with text and drawing tools. The photos and videos will disappear after 24 hours and won’t appear on your profile grid or in feed,” the company said in a blog post.
Stories is available on Android and iOS.
