The internet has won: Windows 8 leaked

So as soon as Windows 8 was released to manufacturers, it was released to the internet public for mass consumption. Lo and behold, it’s the final version too.
Microsoft has already confirmed that development is complete for Windows 8. Widely available on file sharing sites, it is only going to be officially released on October 26th to the public. It’s going to released to MSDN and TechNet customers on August 15th, so the leak is really quite early.
There are both real and fake versions, as you would suspect, and you really shouldn’t expect to get any certification via Microsoft of the authenticity of it.
But if you absolutely cannot wait, then go on, fulfill your Windows needs. Good luck finding a working one that is virus free, though.
