Microsoft has also reassured users that it’s doing all that it can to push Windows 10 out to eager users as soon as possible. Many Gearburn readers have noted that they are currently “in the download queue” for the update, which has been rolled out in different waves across the world.

Rest assured we are working 24×7 to continue the upgrade process and are prioritizing the quality of your upgrade experience over anything else. We are grateful for your excitement and enthusiasm and we appreciate your patience over the days and weeks ahead as we carefully roll out Windows 10 in phases to all of you that have reserved.

Nevertheless, it has been a relatively smooth launch for Microsoft and a highly successful one in terms of adoption rates.
