Guerilla explains Horizon Zero Dawn’s epic monsters in new clip

Although it’s only due in February 2017, the PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn is probably one of the platform’s most eagerly anticipated titles of the year.

For Guerilla Games, this is the studio’s first real shot at an adventure title, and the game itself melds elements of Monster Hunter, Xenoblade Chronicles, Far Cry Primal and shades of Rise of the Tomb Raider all into one future prehistoric adventure title.

Of course, what would a game like that be without its monsters?

In the game’s latest hype reel, a number of the Guerilla Games staff chat about the creation of Horizon Zero Dawn’s monsters, including their inspirations, ambitions and ultimate abilities. While it’s not totally in-depth, we also get to see a smidgen more gameplay from the title.
