Stardew Valley is coming to Xbox One, PS4 mid-December
Indie darling farming and life simulator, Stardew Valley is finally making its way to home consoles. Well, only the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Announced in a blog post on the Stardew Valley website, the game will release on PS4 in North America on 13 December. The European PS4 edition and will be available on 14 December, along with a worldwide release on Xbox One.
What is interesting to note is that the game won’t be available on the Nintendo Wii U. Instead, developer Eric Barone says that they will be developing a version for the Nintendo Switch, which is releasing next year.
“I do want to emphasise that I am absolutely committed to seeing Stardew Valley on Nintendo platforms, and I really do appreciate your support and understanding in this,” adds Barone.
Pre-order the game on Xbox One and PS4 (European regions only, including SA) from 30 November.
Stardew Valley currently holds a score of 88/100 on Metacritic and an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam.
